I'm not finished yet!
But what do you think? Do you like the colour...? I keep going away from it and then coming back again, and I'll probably do a bit of experimenting with other backgrounds but overall I'm happy to move away from the black pages - they were fine when I started but they're a bit old hat now.

Do I like the colour? Yes and no. I think I have reservations that might actually be simply the relationship of the background colour to the heading/link/etc colours of the text. I think I would unreservably like the colour if it was teamed with all the other 'just right' colours. (Maybe a deep purple and a burnt orange?) Also, while I do like the background colour showing through the header, it is a little unclear because the tone is quite similar to many of the tones in the images (which is great by the way). Maybe an inner shadow, or stroke of black to outline the text? I should have emailed this. Feel free to delete it!
I like the 'new'colour of the blog - but I must say... i miss the comforting image of the double elephants sitting on top of the blog.... ahhh well such is progress
I adore library widget (love my own - love finding anyone else using one) - a sneak peak into other folks book collections is always illuminating!
Hmm yes, I know what you mean about it being a bit unsettling AND not yet quite right! I'm still working on it... I do really like the background colour if only someone hadn't refered to it as 'vomit yellow'.
Yep - vomit yellow does describe it to a T. Sorry - but it's true.
I liked the color until I read the vivid description of it. Puke yellow? Ew.
Other than that, I like it just fine.
